Grandma Rose's Hamantashen

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in blender; blend until smooth. Freeze dough in wax paper until hard. Roll out dough with rolling pin, using sprinkles of flour to keep from sticking. Cut out circles with a jar lid. Dab pastry filling into center of each circle, then fold to form triangles. Bake on cookie sheet 10-15 minutes at 350.
