Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
  2. Add water to make 1 cup.
  3. Boil; add Jello, stirring to dissolve.
  4. Stir in ginger ale.
  5. Blend pineapple and cranberry sauce.
  6. Fold into Jello.
  7. Chill in 9x9 inch dish.
  8. Make Dream Whip according to package directions.
  9. Beat in cream cheese.
  10. Spread over Jello and top with pecans.
  11. May add 1/4 to 1/3 cup powdered sugar to topping, if desired.
  12. Skip the nuts if you don't like them. Also, I tend to buy two of the smaller cans of cranberry sauce, one jellied, one chunky - I like the extra texture. AND - make this the night before or your frosting will be runny!
