Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup double cream
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 cup chocolate
  • 2 tbsp chocolate
  • 2 tbsp glace ginger, chopped finely
  • 1 medium egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp drambuie

Directions:

  1. Combine butter, cream and ground ginger in a saucepan. Cook over low heat unil butter melts and cream bubbles around edges. Remove from heat,.
  2. Chop chocolate and add to mixture. Cover with a lid until melted. Stir until smooth,.
  3. Mix glacé ginger, egg yolk and drambuie. Chill until firm. Form into balls and roll into cocoa powder to cover. Top with ginger.
