Ingredients:

  • 4 -5 cups flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 oz dry yeast (1 package)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water

Directions:

  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in water.
  2. Combine salt, 4 c flour and grated cheese.
  3. Stir in yeast mix and add more flour if needed to form stiff dough.
  4. Knead 5-10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Break off small pieces and shape into any form.
  6. Put on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush each with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt (optional).
  7. Bake 425 for 5-10 minutes until golden brown.
