Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 2 oz unsweetened cocoa (hershey's)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs (beaten )
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:

  1. Melt butter and cocoa together in medium sized pan over low heat. stir together and remove from heat. Add sugar, vanilla and eggs (mix eggs in little at a time, quickly stirring so you don't end up with chocolate scrambled eggs). Mix well then stir in flour and salt. Spread batter into 8 inch square buttered pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven until set, about 25 minutes. Cool before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
