Fruitcake Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter or 1 1/2 tbsp margarine
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Cut in butter to brown sugar.
  2. Add flour and mix well.
  3. Blend in water.
  4. Cook until thick.
  5. Add vinegar and nutmeg.
  6. Serve warm.
