Ingredients:

  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine

Directions:

  1. Combine flour and pecans in a medium mixing bowl, stirring well. Set aside.
  2. Combine sugar, syrup, and butter in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat just to boiling, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; add to flour mixture, stirring well.
  3. Drop batter by teaspoonfuls 3 inches apart onto aluminum foil-lined cookie sheets. Bake at 350° for 7 minutes. Let cool completely on cookie sheets; peel off aluminum foil. Store cookies in airtight containers.
