Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/3 cups flour
  • 2 eggs

Directions:

  1. Preheat Oven to 375.
  2. Lightly grease baking sheets.
  3. In large bowl, beat butter, sugars, vanilla with mixer until fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs, baking soda and salt until combined.
  5. Add flour and beat on low speed until blended.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoons about 1 1/2 inches apart on baking sheets.
  7. Bake in pre-heated oven for 8 to 9 minutes until edges brown.
  8. Cool on sheets 2 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
  9. FOR CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE PECAN COOKIES:.
  10. 1 Basic Dough Recipe.
  11. 2/3 Cup Cocoa.
  12. 1 10 Ounce Bag English Toffee Bits.
  13. 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans.
  14. 1 10 Ounce Hershey Bar, Chopped.
  15. Assemble basic dough recipe through step 2, then mix in rest of ingredients.
  16. Complete and bake as directed.
  17. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
  18. CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES:.
  19. 1 Basic Dough Recipe.
  20. 2/3 Cup Cocoa.
  21. 1 1/4 Cup Mini Hershey Kisses.
  22. 1 1/4 Cup M & M's Baking Bits.
  23. Assemble basic dough recipe through step 2, then mix in rest of ingredients.
  24. Complete and bake as directed.
  25. Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
  26. OATMEAL GINGER COOKIES:.
  27. 1 Basic Dough Recipe.
  28. 2 2/3 Cups Old Fashioned Oats.
  29. 1 Cup Chopped Candied Ginger.
  30. 1/2 Brown Sugar, Packed.
  31. 1/2 Cup Melted Butter.
  32. Assemble basic dough recipe through step 2, then mix in rest of ingredients.
  33. Complete and bake as directed.
  34. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
  35. ALMOND COCONUT COOKIES:.
  36. 1 Basic Dough Recipe.
  37. 1-7 Ounce Tube Almond Paste (Marzipan).
  38. 6 Large Egg Whites.
  39. 6 Cups Shredded Coconut.
  40. Assemble basic dough recipe through step 2.
  41. Crumble almond paste into food processor and add egg whites.
  42. Process until smooth.
  43. Stir into dough along with coconut.
  44. Proceed to step 3.
  45. Complete and bake as directed.
  46. Makes about 6 1/2 dozen cookies.
