Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 1/4 oz) can creamed corn
  • 1 (7 oz) box cornbread mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp dill weed (optional)

Directions:

  1. Dice the onion.
  2. Saute in butter.
  3. Combine cornbread mix, egg, milk, cream corn and Tabasco.
  4. Pour in a 8x8 greased baking pan.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes.
  6. While baking, combine sour cream, salt, 1/2 cup cheese and onions.
  7. When the bread has baked for 15 minutes, spread the sour cream mix over the top evenly.
  8. Sprinkle 1/2 cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes.
