Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Spread whole pecans on cookie sheet.
  2. In a HEAVY saucepan, slowly melt butter over low heat.
  3. Slowly add sugar, corn syrup, and water.
  4. Cook until candy thermometer reads 300F, about 1 hour.
  5. Stir constantly to avoid burning the candy.
  6. Pour candy over pecans on cookie sheet.
  7. In a double boiler, melt half of the dipping chocolate.
  8. Sprinkle with half the chopped pecans.
  9. When chocolate is set, turn and repeat.
  10. When fully set, break into pieces.
