Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp plus 1/4 tsp. yeast
  • 2 3/4 cups white bread flour
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water

Directions:

  1. Put ingredients into pan according to manufactures instructions.
  2. Select white bread
  3. Press start
  4. This makes a 1-1/2 lb. loaf
  5. NOTE: Depending on the humidity, you may need to increase flour, no more than 3 cups total. I use the dough cycle, then I let it raise one more time in the machine. Then I take it out, punch it down flat, and make it into a loaf. I then put it in a slightly greased bread pan, cover it in saran wrap and let it raise until it is double in bulk. I bake it at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. (When it sounds hollow on the bottom it is done).
