Easy Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup. sugar
  • 1 cup. (2 sticks) margarine or butter softened
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cup. flour

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar, margarine, egg and vanilla in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  2. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat oven to 375.
  4. Shape dough into 1 balls. Place about 2 apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
