Ingredients:

  • 3 (16 oz) cans pinto beans, drained
  • 2 (1 1/4 oz) packages mild chili seasoning mix
  • 1 (64 oz) bottle campbell's tomato juice (large bottle)
  • 1 (4 oz) can green chilies (optional)

Directions:

  1. In large Dutch oven, cook ground beef until no longer pink; drain.
  2. Put back into pan; add seasoning.
  3. Then add beans and chilies.
  4. Add enough tomato juice to cover (about 3/4 of the bottle).
  5. Mix well.
  6. Simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. Serve with cornbread.
