Date and Banan Compote (Nakhil Wa Mooz)

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In ovenproof dish layer bananas.
  2. Put date halves on top of bananas, then almond halves on top of dates.
  3. Add light cream barely covering the dates.
  4. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
  5. Before serving sprinkle brown sugar on top in a very thin layer, place under broiler for 3 to 4 minutes. Serve immediately.
