Crispy Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup brn sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla x-tract
  • 1 1/4 cup semi-sweet morsels (8 oz)

Directions:

  1. In medium sauce-pan combine 1st 3 ingredients, (corn syrup,brn sugar, salt) bring to full boil over med-hi heat
  2. Remove from heat and add the peanut butter and vanilla, stirring until smooth and blended
  3. Cool for 5 minutes, while cooling, butter 13x9 inchbaking dish
  4. Nowadd the rice crispies, and corn flakes
  5. Stir until almost incorperated and add the chocolate morsels
  6. They will melt slightly
  7. Press mixture into buttered dish , cut into squares
  8. Cover with plastic wrap
  9. Place in the fridge for 15-20 minutes , or until hard
