Ingredients:

  • 2 cups shortening
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 cups flour
  • 4 cups oatmeal
  • 2 packages chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Mix first five ingredients.
  2. Add remaining items.
  3. Dip out with a teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
