Country Never Fail  Peanut Brittle

Ingredients:

  • country never fail peanut brittle
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 cup raw peanuts (sometimes i roast mine just a little)

Directions:

  1. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  2. Boil sugar, corn syrup and water until thread spins.
  3. Add peanuts, stir continuously after peanuts are added.
  4. Cook until mixture turns a brownish-gold color.
  5. Remove from heat, add butter, salt and baking soda.
  6. Pour onto buttered board, spreading to 1/4-inch thickness.
  7. When cool break into pieces.
  8. Store in an airtight container.
