Cornmeal Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Grease well two (ideally springform) round cake tins
  2. Melt the dark and half of the milk chocolate and all the butter gently together in a pan, remove from heat and cool slightly
  3. Combine ground almonds, cornmeal and salt well in a large bowl
  4. In a seperate bowl lightly beat the eggs and then add to them the sugar and mix well.
  5. Add the melted chocolate/butter to the eggs and sugar mix, combine well
  6. Pour the wet mix onto the dry and mix gently but well
  7. Pour the mixture between the two tins and sprinkle the remaining milk chocolate over the top
  8. Bake at 180 degrees celcius for 25-30 minutes until the mixture no long wobbles in the tin and is coming slightly away from the sides
  9. Allow to cool slightly and then slice and gorge!!!!
