Cocoa Fudge Cake Icing

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Put first 5 ingredients in saucepan and boil on medium heat 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla.
  3. Mix thoroughly and spread over layer or sheet cake.
  4. Icing will be thin at first but will be soft and creamy when cool.
  5. Makes enough for tops and sides of 3 layer cake or sheet cake.
