Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp water warm
  • 2 1/4 tsp yeast dry
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 1/4 cup flour

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven at 375 degrees.
  2. Mix together in a small bowl and let sit.
  3. Put 3 tablespoons warm water and 2 and 1/4 teaspoons of dry yeast.
  4. Put the glass measuring cup with its ingredients into a microwave and microwave for 40 sec. Put into your electric mixing bowl 1 cup of flour, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  5. Mix in the yeast mixture and the milk mixture on low speed. Turn the mixer to medium speed and mix for 2 mins.
  6. Add 1 egg and 1/3 cup of flour. Beat again for 2 mins. Then stir in 1 and 1/4 cup(s) of flour.
  7. Turn out on to a lightly floured counter. Dust the top of the dough with a little flour. Knead for 8 to 10 mins. Put into a greased bowl twice the size of the dough so it can rise. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
  8. Day 2:
  9. Punch the dough down. Knead a little bit to warm up the dough. Roll out to a 9in.x15in. rectangle. Brush with 2 or 3 tablespoons of melted margarine leaving one long edge plain. Sprinkle on about 1/2 cup of sugar and about 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Roll up to the plain edge and seal by pinching the long edge. Cut dough with a string into 8 to 10 pieces. place on a greased cookie sheet. Let rise for about 20 mins. Bake for about 20 mins.
