Ingredients:

  • 2 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 package yeast
  • 6 cup flour
  • 3 cup splenda
  • 6 tblsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. For the dough: Heat milk, margarine, honey, and salt in microwave for about two minutes. Set aside to cool.
  2. Beat 2/3 cup egg substitute in a large bowl. Add lukewarm milk to eggs.
  3. Mix yeast with 3 cups flour. Stir into milk mixture.
  4. Gradually add flour to make a soft dough.
  5. Grease a large bowl and place dough in bowl turning to coat well.
  6. Place bowl in warm place and let dough rise until doubled in size.
  7. Divide dough into three equal parts and place on greased cookie sheet.
  8. Cover and let rise for 20 minutes.
  9. Roll or stretch each piece into a rectangle.
  10. Brush each rectangle with 2 tbsp. milk, then sprinkle with mix of cinnamon and splenda.
  11. Roll up dough snugly, jelly roll style. put rolls into a greased bread pan.
  12. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour.
  13. Bake at 350 Degrees F for 35 minutes.
  14. Remove from pan a soon as baking is complete. Cool on wire rack.
  15. This dough makes excellent dinner rolls if done without the filling. It also makes a good tea ring.
