Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat together butter, shortening, and sugars until fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs, vanilla, and coconut extract.
  4. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Mix dry ingredients into wet.
  6. Blend in cherries, coconut, and almonds.
  7. Drop rounded teaspoons of batter onto un-greased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
