Christmas Cookies With Coffee Frosting

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy then blend in eggs and vanilla.
  2. Add combined flour and baking soda alternately with sour cream.
  3. Mix well after each addition then chill overnight.
  4. Divide dough into four portions.
  5. On well floured surface roll out one portion to 1/8” thickness then chill remaining dough.
  6. Cut with cookie cutters into desired shapes then place on ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake at 325 for 10 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown.
  8. Repeat with remaining dough then frost with coffee frosting.
  9. To make frosting dissolve coffee granules in water.
  10. Beat butter then blend in coffee mixture and vanilla.
  11. Add sugar then mix until well combined gradually adding cream to reach spreading consistency.
