  1. Mix cocoa, sugar, corn syrup and salt in a saucepan. Add water gradually, stirring until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. When cool, add vanilla. Refrigerate.
