Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups flour (6 1/4 oz)
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 7 oz light brown sugar , packed (1 cup)

Directions:

  1. Set oven temperature to 350 degrees.
  2. Whisk flour through salt together.
  3. Whisk butter with egg and brown sugar. Add vanilla.
  4. Add flour to wet ingredients and 3 oz. of the chips.
  5. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Press remaining chips on top of cookies.
  6. Bake 11-13 minutes, rotating halfway through baking.
