Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened (1stick)
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups tops brand friendly harvest original cereal (life cereal can be used)

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Beat sugars, butter and peanut butter until creamy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour and baking soda. Add to butter mixture; mix well. Add cereal and chocolate chips; mix well.
  3. Drop by level tablespoons 1 1/2-inches apart onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until light golden brown. Let stand 1 minute before removing to racks to cool.
