Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cup. flour
  • 3/4 cup. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup. sugar
  • 1 cup. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup. butter
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup. chopped pecans
  • 40 ' rolo' caramels
  • topping
  • 1/2 cup. ground pecans
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Directions:

  1. Cream butter. Beat in sugars until fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs, beat well. Add flour, cocoa and baking soda. Stir in pecans. Shape a tablespoon of dough around 1 Rolo caramel, making sure it is completely covered. Press one side of each ball into the nut topping and place “nut-side-up” on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° oven for 10-12 minutes.
