Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream together melted butter, peanut butter, and shortening. Add Incing sugar and baking powder and blend well.
  2. Stir milk and egg together, blend well, and add to peanut butter mixture.
  3. Add dates, cherries, walnuts, vanilla and salt. Blend well.
  4. Chill mixture for 30 minutes.
  5. Roll mixture in small balls. Return to refrigerator.
  6. In a medium saucepan, add 2-3 cups water and bring to a boil. In a heatproof bowl add the chocolate chips, chocolate square, and parowax.
  7. Remove the saucepan from the heat, and place the bowl over the boiling water making sure the water doesn't touch the bottom of the bowl. Stir occasionally until chocolates and parowax have melted and blended well.
  8. Roll balls in chocolate and return to refrigerator.
