Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C Sift flour and baking powder into a large bowl.
  2. Mix the butter, sugar, banana, eggs, vanilla extract and choc chips in a separate bowl.
  3. Add to dry ingredients and stir to combine, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Pour the batter into a non-stick or lightly greased loaf tin and bake for 1 hour 15 mins, or until the bread is cooked when tested with a skewer.
  5. Leave to cool in tin for 5 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool.
  6. Serve in thick slices with butter.
