Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Saute onions and set aside.
  2. Saute mushrooms briefly and set aside.
  3. Combine flour pepper salt in a plastic bag.
  4. Add beef chunks and shake bag until beef has a flour coating.
  5. Remove beef and shake off excess flour.
  6. Brown the beef in butter and oil mixture in small batches until slightly crispy.
  7. Place the browned beef in a ovenproof casserole dish and add sauteed onions.
  8. Combine the following ingredients and stir into the casserole.
  9. Wine, stock, herbs, mustard tomato puree and a pinch of sugar.Add a little extra boiling water to the casserole to barely cover the food.
  10. Bake in 160c oven for 1hr 15min. Add the musfhrooms and continue to bake for another 30 minute.
