Ingredients:

  • 12 cups popped corn (1/2cup. unpopped)+1 c. mixed nuts(optional)
  • keep warm in oven at 250 degrees
  • 1/2 cup. butter
  • 1/2 cup. corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla (optional)

Directions:

  1. In heavy bottom pan melt butter until just golden.
  2. Add Brown Sugar,Corn Syrup and salt.Heat to boiling.
  3. Put lid on and let boil 5 mins WITHOUT stirring ..
  4. Remove from heat..add Vanilla and Baking Soda.
  5. Pour over popped corn and nuts(if added)..Stir well..
  6. Return to oven..and bake at 250 for 1 hour
  7. Stir popcorn every 15 mins for this hour.
  8. Store in TIGHTLY covered container..
  9. ENJOY..THIS IS A VERY FRIENDLY RECIPE..HANDLES ADJUSTMENTS OK..
