Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt - stir in milk and vanilla, mixing well - fold in peaches, mixing well.
  2. Spread in greased 8 square pan.
  3. Prepare caramel topping and pour over batter.
  4. Bake in hot oven.400* about 30 minutes.
  5. Serve with whipped cream or plain cream.
