Caramel-Filled Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup sugar, brown sugar, and butter; beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs; blend well.
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, and baking soda; mix well.
  3. Add to sugar mixture; blend well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat oven to 375.
  5. For each cookie, with floured hands, shape 1 tablespoon dough around 1 candy, covering completely.
  6. Place 2 apart on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 7-10 minutes.
  7. Cool for 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets and let cool completely.
  8. In a small saucepan, melt white chocolate and drizzle over the cookies.
