Ingredients:

  • 1 cup walnut halves

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Line rimmed baking sheet with foil.
  3. Combine walnuts and maple syrup in medium bowl; toss to coat.
  4. Spread out nuts on sheet.
  5. Bake until browned and dry, stirring often, about 22 minutes.
  6. Cool.
  7. Remove from foil.
  8. Coarsely chop nuts.
  9. Note: Can be made 3 days ahead.
  10. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
