Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix together all ingredients except for apples.
  2. Add 1 cup of cold water and mix.
  3. Cook on stovetop until it boils.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Peel apples and cut in half and core.
  6. Put in a 9X13 pan or baking dish.
  7. Spoon hot syrup over apples.
  8. Cover with foil leaving corners folded back.
  9. Make a few slits in foil.
  10. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes or until apples are tender.
