Ingredients:

  • 1/2 head of cored and coarsely chopped cabbage
  • 2 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 2 qts. of water
  • 4 tsp. of chicken bouillon
  • 3 tbsp. of olive oil
  • 1 tsp. of salt , or to taste
  • 1/2 tdp. of black pepper, or to taste

Directions:

  1. First add olive oil to a large pot, over medium flame.
  2. Saute the garlic and onion until onions are yellow, approx. 5 min.
  3. Now pour in the water, bouillon, salt, and pepper.
  4. Let this come to a boil and drop in the cabbage.
  5. Cook this until the cabbage wilts, approx. 10 min.
  6. Then add tomatoes, letting flame rise around 10 to 15 min.
  7. Stir constantly until flavors melt together. Enjoy!
