Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream together the shortening, sugar and brown sugar.
  3. Sift together flour, soda and salt, then add to creamed mixture.
  4. Add vanilla and butter flavoring.
  5. Stir in nuts.
  6. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
  8. Yiels 7 to 8 dozen depending on size of cookies you make.
