Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 3 cups sifted powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. Cook butter in a small heavy saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, 4 to 5 minutes or until golden brown. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, beating with a wooden spoon until spreading consistency is reached (add water to thin, if necessary).
