Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar and butter: cream until light and fluffy
  2. Add flour, salt, and soda mixing well.
  3. Stir in oats
  4. Press half of mixture into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  5. Top with preserves spreading to within 1/4 inch of edge.
  6. Press remaining crumb mixture on top.
  7. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes
  8. Cool 5 minutes.
  9. Cut into 2 inch bars.
