Ingredients:

  • 5 cups blueberries
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Combine berries, 1 cup sugar, water and lemon juice in large saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, then simmer gently.
  3. While blueberries simmer, measure remaining 1/4 cup sugar,flour,salt and baking powder into a bowl, stir to blend.
  4. Cut in the butter and add milk.
  5. Stir until moistened.
  6. Drop by spoonfuls over simmering blueberry mixture.
  7. Simmer cover 15 to 20 minutes.
  8. Serve with cool whip or ice cream. Enjoy!
