Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2-1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • dash of cloves
  • 3 - 4 tsps grated orange peel
  • 1 ) 12oz package vanilla chips
  • cream butter and sugars. beat in egg.
  • combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.

Directions:

  1. Drop by rounded Tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  2. Bake 350 for 12 - 14 Minutes or until lightly browned.
  3. Cool on wire racks.
  4. Makes about 3 dozen
