Ingredients:

  1. In a large saucepan cook ground beef/turkey, onion, green pepper, and garlic till meat is brown.
  2. Drain fat.
  3. Stir in undrained tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, basil, salt and pepper.
  4. Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
  5. Cover; simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Makes 4 main-dish servings.
