Ingredients:

  • 3 cups orange juice
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 6 (3-inch) sticks cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp whole cloves
  • 3 quarts apple cider
  • 1/2 cup applejack (optional)
  • additional sticks cinnamon (optional)

Directions:

  1. Combine orange juice, lemon juice, sugar, 6 sticks cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg in a Dutch oven over medium heat; cook until sugar dissolves and mixture is thoroughly heated. Add cider, stirring well. Add applejack, if desired. Strain mixture, discarding stick cinnamon and cloves; pour into cups. Serve with stick cinnamon, if desired.
