Baked Bananas A L' Orange

Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • whipped cream

Directions:

  1. Peel bananas and cut them in half lengthwise and crosswise.
  2. Arrange in a shallow buttered baking dish.
  3. Combine the cornflour, white sugar and orange juice.
  4. Pour this over the bananas and make sure they are well coated.
  5. Dot with butter.
  6. Sprinkle with brown sugar and coconut.
  7. Bake at 375F for 30 minutes or until the sauce is slightly thick and the bananas are tender.
  8. Serve top with whipped cream or ice-cream, if desired or enjoy this treat all by itself!
