Bailey Switch Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans
  • 9 inches pie crusts

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium sauce pan melt the butter.
  3. Add sugar, corn syrup, salt and vanilla and stir until sugar dissolves and all is incorporated.
  4. Remove from the heat, let cool to room temperature.
  5. Then stir into the eggs, and stir in the pecans.
  6. Pour into the pie shell and bake 40 minutes.
