Aunt Nelda's Cream Cheese Coffee Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 (3 oz) package cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups bisquick
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 -2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Cut cream cheese with butter into Bisquick until crumbly.
  2. Stir in 1/4 cup milk.
  3. Put on floured surface and knead 10-12 strokes.
  4. On waxed paper, roll dough to 12x18-inch rectangle.
  5. Invert on greased baking sheet.
  6. Remove paper.
  7. Spread jam down center.
  8. Fold over.
  9. Bake at 355 degrees for 20 minutes.
  10. Let cool 5 minutes.
  11. Stir together confectioner's sugar, milk, and vanilla.
  12. Drizzle over cake.
