Aunt Bea's Baking Powder Drop Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 tbsp shortening
  • 3/4-1 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Mix dry ingredients.
  3. Cut in shortening until small like peas.
  4. Stir in milk until elastic.
  5. Drop by spoonfuls onto chicken gravy.
  6. Bake 20-25 minutes until biscuits are puffed up and browned.
