Ingredients:

  • 1 quart apples peel and slice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • cinnamon optional

Directions:

  1. Peel and slice the apples
  2. Combine all ingredients in a sause pan and cook until tender
  3. Mash the mixture using a potat masher or an electric mixer until it is smooth.
  4. Put hte applesauce in an airtight container and place in the regrigerator to cool.
  5. Once cool, top with a little cinnamon if you like, and enjoy bowl of fresh applesauce.
