Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  3. In large bowl, whisk together milk, honey, eggs and vanilla. Fold in dry ingredients until just blended. Stir in apples and pecans.
  4. Divide batter between two greased 9-by-5-inch loaf pans and bake for about 45 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  5. Cool in pans for 15 minutes, then turn out and cool completely on wire rack. Serve with butter and honey, if desired. Store in plastic bag. Yields 2 loaves.
