Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups finely diced apples
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup soft butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Grease a 9x13 baking pan.
  3. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl.
  4. Add remaining ingredients and beat just until combined.
  5. Batter will be thick.
  6. Spread evenly in pan.
  7. Bake one hour or until tests done.
